Range autonomy covers your daily commute in the city: travel to work, stop off at the gym and head home again within the up to 199 mile range. *Electric range data has been determined according to WLPT combined test procedure methodology. Everyday use may differ and is dependent on various factors and vehicle configuration. In particular: personal driving style, route characteristics, exterior temperature, heating/air conditioning, preconditioning, and battery condition.
SHERPA MODE
“Sherpa Mode” is a smart feature that saves energy by optimising the car’s parameters like mobile charger, air conditioning, speed, or acceleration.
FAST CHARGING
The New (500)RED with fast-charging capabilities at 50 kW or 85kW, depending on the battery you choose, allowing up to 30 miles from a 5 minutes charge and up to 80% battery charge in 35 minutes* *Values refer to 85 kW with 199 mile battery range
ONE PEDAL DRIVING
The New (500)RED offers a new driving experience using the right-hand pedal both to accelerate and decelerate. Any time the driver lifts the right foot from the pedal, the car slows down, then converts and recovers kinetic energy to generate electric power and recharge the battery.
DRIVE SMART, GO FURTHER
Various factors can alter your electric vehicle’s range. At high speeds, range is reduced. At 80mph the range is almost halved compared to the WLTP cycle. Smooth acceleration and gentle use of braking can optimize autonomy by 15% - 20%. Using the heater can affect potential range up to 40%, so it’s wise to preheat or cool the car.
EASY CHARGING OUT OF HOME
If you’re out and about you can use the Mode 3 Cable to charge your New (500)RED at public stations and parking spaces.
